Chika Jones has written and performed poetry for over a decade. Since 2013, when he won a National poetry slam, he has performed at the Lagos Book and Arts Festival, Lagos International Poetry Festival, Ake Arts and Book Festival, 'Finding Home' theatre production in Berlin. He moved to the UK in 2021 after endorsement by the Arts Council of England for the Global Talent Visa. He has performed at Sunday Papers Live, Jawdance, and on several other stages. He has been a part of the Soul Food theatre production in Kent since 2022.

He was also a resident writer at the International Residency 'Here and Now' in 2023 writing between Scotland, Ghana and Lagos. His second one man play 'The Point is Joy' was performed in Cambridge in 2024 and his poem 'Two Tortoises' was selected for the Anthology…
