WRITER TALKS: AN EVENING OF 90S FANDOM, WITH JIM BOB (CARTER USM), SARAH L. DIXON, AND SAM HALL
Jim Bob Jim Bob is best known as the singer with Carter The Unstoppable Sex Machine. With Carter he toured the world, had fourteen top forty singles and four top ten albums (including a number one) and headlined Glastonbury. Since the break-up(s) of Carter Jim Bob has released twelve solo albums, written songs for Ian Dury, for a pantomime at the London Barbican, and appeared in a musical at the Edinburgh Festival. Jim Bob’s recent trilogy of lockdown and post-lockdown albums have seen him back in the pop charts. A second Glastonbury headline spot is only a question of time.
