Big Trouble
Big Trouble is Medway's longest-running spoken word evening, featuring guest poets from Kent and beyond as well as a free-for-all open mic. Big Trouble is run by poets Bethany Goodwill and David Dykes and can be found on Facebook at @BigTroublePoetry.
We are excited that for the second year running, Big Trouble will be taking over our regular Friday night poetry slot, Poetry Republic at Coffee Republic, Chatham, on 15 December, with guests, Richard Scott and Jah-Mir Early.

We are delighted that authors from Crystal Peake will be joining us, on several occasions! On Saturday 16 November, they'll be hosting their own author takeover at Chatham Library at 12.30pm, where young people can meet and talk to some of Crystal Peake's authors and hear a little bit from their books.
Crystal Peake writer Charlotte Byrne, writer of Folked Up, will also be joining us to run two workshops, on Saturday 9 November, Charlotte will be co-presenting a Masterclass and Panel Discussion with Michael Hughes, author of Country, on Historical Fiction Writing at Chatham Library from 2pm, and on Sunday 24 November at 4pm, Charlotte will also be leading a Masterclass in Writing Queer and Trans Characters. And she'll be attending the Author Fair on Sunday 2 November, at Rochester Library too!
